Summer Drive-In To Extend Season Through October 30

Theater transitioning to weekend only showings

The Summer Drive-In at USA Hockey Arena, presented by Community Financial Credit Union, announced today that they will extend their season through October 30. The Drive-In’s normal summer season concludes on Labor Day weekend.

“We couldn’t be happier to announce an extension to our Summer Drive-In season,” said Mike Henry, general manager of USA Hockey Arena. “With all the uncertainty still surrounding the state and country due to COVID, we know the Summer Drive-In is a fun, safe, family-friendly experience. We have seen a tremendous amount of success and support this summer, it just made sense to keep the drive-in going.”

The Summer Drive-In is transitioning to a weekend only schedule and will play movies on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings only, beginning this weekend on October 1. 

Doors are now opening at 7:00 p.m., 30 minutes earlier than normal as the shorter days will lead to earlier start times for movies. All movies are slated to begin at 8:30 p.m. for the remainder of the movie season. Tickets will remain available exclusively online through SummerDriveIn.com and must be purchased in advance of entering the theater. 

The concessions trailer will stay open in the Summer Drive-In parking lot, while CJ’s Brewing Company continues to provide a full menu to order from with delivery to each screen. We ask that all of our attendees remain mindful of the health and safety protocols outlined at SummerDriveIn.com.
