Czechia jumped out to an early 2-0 lead as Adam Csabi and Jakub Stancl scored in the game's opening 3:05.

Sweden worked to tie the game before the end of the opening period as Tom Willander and Felix Unger Sorum scored to even the contest after one.

The Swedes controlled the pace for most of the remainder of the game. Arvid Bergstrom gave the team its first lead early in the middle frame and Anton Wahlberg used a coast-to-coast move to extend the lead to 4-2.

Czechia's Daniel Badinka found the back of the net to narrow the gap, but Noah Dower Nilsson netted the game's only goal in the third to push the final to 5-3.
