NTDP Announces NCAA College Series

University of Minnesota and University of Maine Among Opponents Coming To USA Hockey Arena

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - The U.S. National Under-18 Team, part of USA Hockey's National Team Development Program, will face six college opponents at USA Hockey Arena in 2018-19, including Minnesota, Maine, Lake Superior State, Bowling Green, Holy Cross and Adrian College and fans can take advantage of a special college series package ticket option that was unveiled today.

"We are excited to have another great year of college hockey at USA Hockey Arena," said Scott Monaghan, senior director of operations for the NTDP. "With the talent on college rosters, fans will be treated to great hockey."

The U18s first collegiate game will come at home against the University of Minnesota on Saturday, Oct. 13. The five-time national champion Golden Gophers have advanced to the NCAA Tournament 37 times, including 21 trips to the Frozen Four.

Bowling Green State University, which has appeared in nine NCAA Tournaments, will come to town for a Thanksgiving Eve showdown on Wednesday, Nov. 21. 

Two-time national champion University of Maine will visit USA Hockey Arena for the first time on Saturday, Dec. 8, with a matchup against Lake Superior State University set for Sunday, December 16. 

The 2019 calendar year will kickoff with a New Year's Day matchup against the College of Holy Cross before in-state opponent Adrian College wraps up the series on Tuesday, Jan. 8. 

As a bonus, fans who purchase the College Series pack will receive tickets to one NTDP home game of their choice in the months of January or February.
