If you’re looking for a new way to help your little skater master advanced techniques on the ice, then signing up for USA Hockey Arena’s Learn To Skate and Learn To Play programs are for you.
Our Learn To Skate curriculum, endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating, USA Hockey, US Speedskating, Professional Skaters Association (PSA) and the Special Olympics, motivates skaters to improve their athletic and personal goals both on and off the ice in a fun and positive environment.
For confident skaters looking to progress their game, our Learn To Play program will offer lesson plans and teaching based on USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM). It is also a great way to those already playing hockey to get some additional ice time and instruction.
“Our Learn To Skate and Learn To Play programs provide all ages with the tools they need to gain the skills to be confident out on the ice,” said program coordinator Hannah McGowan.
Sign-ups and registration for both programs are open now.
The next session for Learn To Skate is February 15 - March 25, 2023 on Wednesdays from 5:10-6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00-9:50 am. You can find further information, including registration details, at usahockeyarena.com/LTS.
